San Lourenzo de Carboeiro

The Benedictine Monastery of San Lourenzo de Carboeiro is one of the most outstanding architectural works of the late Romanesque, the transition to the Gothic, in Galicia. It's been recovered and restored in the late years to maintain his original and amazing architecture. It's been founded in the 10th century, so it's "almost" brand new ;)

Strasbourg Roman Catholic Cathedral (France) is an awesome piece of architecture built entirely in the Middle Ages. It was the world's tallest building from 1647 to 1874 (the main tower is 142 metres high), and today it's the sixth-tallest church in the world and the highest extant structure built entirely in the Middle Ages. You must go and see the lovely structure, the sculpted walls, the size of the interior... it's a place to go. And of course, it's surrounded with a beautiful French old town all around!

Colosseum

The Colosseum or Coliseum, also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, is an oval amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome, Italy. Built of concrete and sand, it is the largest amphitheatre ever built. Construction began under the emperor Vespasian in 72 AD and still here, showing us the greatness of the architecture and construction of the Roman empire. It was used for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles such as mock sea battles, animal hunts, executions, re-enactments of famous battles, and dramas based on Classical mythology. Amazing Rome right?
